How long does a scan take?
Depending on the size of the target and the number of ports, a security scan can take anywhere from 3 minutes to 2 hours.
Will your system crash my website?
No. clearvuln uses non-intrusive scanning templates. It only proves the existence of a vulnerability without exploiting it destructively.
Can I scan any website?
Absolutely not. For legal reasons, you must prove ownership of a domain via DNS (TXT record) before you can initiate a scan.
What are the differences between scan profiles (Smart, Auto, Aggressive)?
Smart (Recommended) scans for stable CVEs and misconfigurations without harming the target. Tech-Focused (Auto) targets only the detected infrastructure (e.g., WordPress) for a faster scan. Aggressive pushes all boundaries with fuzzing (randomized data testing). It may produce false positives and cause temporary service disruptions (DoS/DDoS) due to heavy log traffic.
